1. What is hungaroo?
Hungaroo is a link directory. It is a trilingual (Hungarian, English and German) collection of links which are either Hungarian or about Hungary, in almost 900 categories.

Using different languages in the directory makes it possible for the first time to make the German or English version of many Hungarian sites adequately available. Hungaroo always indicates next to the link the languages in which the given site can be downloaded.

Hungaroo not only collects and groups the different links. If you visit the site, you can actively engage in shaping hungaroo’s content and visual image. Anyone can place their own link in the directory, or can suggest a new category. What’s more, you can influence the ranking position of a link within the results of a search.

Hungaroo is new in the sense, too, that next to the links it offers short descriptions about the given site, helping to choose the site that most perfectly matches your search queries.
